Our Society
Sociology Society, SSS, HKUSU devotes to organising different activities to enhance people's awareness and knowledge of sociology. Sociology is not a merely theoretical subject, but is closely pertinent to daily life. Therefore, our society hopes to introduce real examples in daily life to encourage students to think from a sociological perspective and apply the sociological theories to their daily lives. Our society hopes that through the study of sociology, students can think using a macro and critical point of view in face of the challenge of globalisation.

The executive committee members of the Sociology Society attended the farewell party of Prof. Lui Tai Lok today. We presented him a portrait of himself and a thank you card with our fellow students' words for him as a vote of thanks.
Thank you Prof. Lui for your endeavours and contribution to the Department and your ceaseless support to the Society. We wish you every success in the future.

The Orientation Camp of Sociology Society SSS
HKUSU was successfully held on 28/8 to 30/8 at
HKU Kadoorie Centre. The theme of the camp
was "Deviance". The theme was delivered through
various games and activities and our participants
enjoyed the camp a lot.
